I never consciously intended to become a writer. It just sort-of happened. I had a busy life and busy career, but always managed to spend time reading - almost exclusively science fiction. Always, since I was a kid - before SF was cool - I thought it was fantastic.

I’ve always been a reader. But once I retired from my career as a sales engineer in networking technology, I found that I had stories in mind that I wanted to write down, polish up, edit and re-edit - just to see if they were any good. So I did.

Then I wondered…can I publish these? So I did. Now I have two published collections of my short stories. It feels really good to be able to say that.
